Sun, 22 June 2008 Gas prices are affecting everyone, even nursesThese are a few pictures I found over on Flickr that tell the tale of the current state of America under these gas prices. These are not my photos.![]() Abandoned Gas Station![]() $5.19 at this Mobil station in Needles, CA. (06/15/2008)![]() Who's Laughing Now?![]() ![]() 34°49' 35" N, 114°35' 45" W
Needles,
CA. The first gas station coming into the state on I-40, also the only
town with gas stations for about 60 Miles. This was the cheapest in
town. Another station was selling for regular unleaded for $5.29, thats
a full dollar higher than the most expensive gas in Arizona which was
$4.33, also in a town with the only gas for 60 or so miles. Until this
stop, we had not paid over $3.90 for gas since Illinois. Needless to
say, we only bought enough gas to et to the next town, where gas prices
were much more reasonable. ![]() Category: text msg -- posted at: 12:19 AM Comments[0] |
