Gas prices are affecting everyone, even nurses

With gas prices so high, these weird little cars aren't so silly looking any longer. I took a little creative license and determined what these drivers are really thinking as they are driving down the road.

Needles, CA. The first gas station coming into the state on I-40, also the only town with gas stations for about 60 Miles. This was the cheapest in town. Another station was selling for regular unleaded for $5.29, thats a full dollar higher than the most expensive gas in Arizona which was $4.33, also in a town with the only gas for 60 or so miles. Until this stop, we had not paid over $3.90 for gas since Illinois. Needless to say, we only bought enough gas to et to the next town, where gas prices were much more reasonable.
